Aperture: Aperture controls the brightness of the image that passes through the lens and falls on the image sensor. The aperture allows you to control the depth of field in your photos. This gives you more room to be creative because it determines the area that appears sharp in your photos. When you are using a wide aperture, such as f/2, you are creating a shallow depth of field, meaning, a shallow plane of your image is in focus.

ISO: ISO is a camera setting that will brighten or darken a photo. As you increase your ISO number, your photos will progressively get brighter. For that reason, ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings.

Shutter Speed: Shutter Speed is the speed at which the shutter of the camera closes. A fast shutter speed creates a shorter exposure — the amount of light the camera takes in —while a slow shutter speed gives the photographer a longer exposure.
